Tim Shipman, writing in Saturday's Daily Telegraph (London), relates fears amongst senior British officials that Dear Leader might relegate the "Special Relationship" from its primary status in Anglo-American relations. Indications from Dear Leader's transition team are that Britain would just one amongst many "special" relationships. Apparently, Dear Leader will go suck up to France and Germany, and his first foreign visit may be to a Muslim nation.
Since 1917, the cornerstone of global security has been the US-UK relationship, ably assisted by other Anglosphere nations. If Dear Leader damages--or worse, wrecks--the Special Relationship, it may very well be his most disastrous legacy.
