Throwing Super Sarah Under the Bus?

On tonight's O'Reilly Factor, reporter Carl Cameron reported that "sources" within the McCain campaign had come forward with stories that Super Sarah was actually a dolt (didn't know Africa was a continent, couldn't name the countries in North America), a diva who refused interview prep for Katie Couric, and was a "shopaholic."

All true? Carl thought so. Bill thought the shopping complaint to be "nitpicking." Is it also possible that McCain staffers--having a dismal campaign now on their CV, are looking for some CYA?

Even if the stories are true, while embarrassing, it simply matches Joe "Hello Folks" Biden and his gaffe-a-day.

Super Sarah didn't lose the election for McCain, no matter what some exit polls might have said. McCain had ZERO chance of winning until she was selected. McCain ran a pathetic Bob Dole-like campaign. Any of us bloggers could have torn Comrade Barack apart in the debates and McCain was weak. McCain only latched onto the socialism issue too late.

It's really up to Super Sarah now what she wants to do next. She has far more grass roots support than McCain ever did or ever will have.

Barack Obama's Fake Bracelet Moment

At tonight's Presidential debate, when John McCain mentioned that he wore the bracelet of an American serviceman killed in action in Iraq, he rang off the man's name and the story with no problem of recollection. Barack Obama then rapidly added that he wore a bracelet too...and then stumbled on the man's name. He was able to say that the bracelet was of the mother of a man killed in action (from the mother Barack?).  He had to look down at his wrist to recite the man's name.

I'll wager he's wore that bracelet for less than a day.

When you wear the bracelet of a KIA or MIA, you usually know the name of the man you are honoring.
